CD4JON is a charity compilation CD of bands that play in the High Wycombe and west London area (including us) made by Graham in memory of his good friend Jon Emmett. Graham takes up the story..

"Last year my good friend Jon Emmett died of heart failure. Jon, myself and other friends enjoyed live music and got to know a lot of bands around our neck of the woods, that being High Wycombe and West London.
In time for the first anniversary of Jon's death I came up with the idea of a compilation cd of some of the bands we had seen, with the profits going to the British Heart Foundation.
The response has been fantastic and it has now become a double cd and could easily have been a triple!
This is the finished article, all bands I've asked have been exceedingly generous with their work and this double cd now has 28 superb tracks, some not previously released.
AVAILABLE NOW AT JUST £10. Click Here to see how to buy your copy. Many thanks, Graham.
And remember this is a limited edition so don't miss out!
"

So far Graham has raised over £2,400 for the British Heart Foundation - well done!

The BullFrog Band are one of those bands that remind you that playing in a rock 'n' roll band is actually about having fun and entertaining the audience. Chris and Julian saw them at the opening night at the George V in Wycombe and were very impressed, when most 'muso' bands are dissapearing up there own ar*es ( not us obviously, well not usually anyway) these guys kept it straight and full on. Eclectic choice of material and the drummer does a nice line in silly hats and message boards while never missing a beat.

Best night we've had in ages!

BUZZ is Mac, Sparkie, Knobby, Wink and Mikes long running high quality funk/rock band. Members of which are also involved in other similar quality outfits including the bluegrass band Papa Truck.

Travelling Shoes (little) Chris was in several bands with Wink back in the stoned age.

New (to me anyway) gig guide for Windsor, Maidenhead, Hig Wycombe etc. called (funnily enough) The Maidenhead - Windsor - Wycombe gig guide.

The Shakers are Paul Sharmans latest rockin' good time band. Pauls history includes 70s country band Shucks, the Boogie Band but most Travelling Shoes fans will remember Paul for the fabulous Blues Shakers, who for a long time alternated Friday nights with Travelling Shoes down the famous Nags Head, High Wycombe. Sadly Spike and Bob Walker are no longer with us but Paul will still be rocking the house with his new band.

Rob Sas' hard rock band with a natty line in Deep Purple covers, amongst others
